Time to sign-up for the 2007 Edmonton Challenge Cup taking place on Saturday, June 9th at Griesbach Parade Square, Edmonton. Get a team of four drivers together and compete against other teams in your categories for best team aggregate time. Each team can have no more than two drivers per car. This year the format is slightly different as when teams register they must choose one of three possible categories to compete in: Raw-time, PAX-time, or Street Tires PAX (note that all drivers must compete on street tires for Street Tire PAX.) Each driver in the team will get a minimum of three official timed runs (four if time permits) and the personal best time will be used towards the team total time. WCMA competition rules and car classes will be used for the event.There will be a cap of 16 teams. Team entry fees will be $30 for each ASA or ASN club affiliated drivers, and $35 for each non-membership drivers. The extra $5 entry fee for non-members drivers includes a ASA day membership. The address for the Griesbach lot is between 144-145 Ave NW, and 110-112 St NW. Look up “14420 - 112 St edmonton” on Google maps or follow the following link and you will see the lot.
Like previous years there will be prizes and cash for the top teams in the categories (prizes and cash amounts based on number of teams entered.) Drivers looking for a team to join or other drivers to fill their team should look at the “EACC General Discussion” forum.
