the problem with high horsepower cars, and particularly vettes, is the car’s capabilities are infinitely beyond your own on your first track day. you can get into trouble quick, you’re a smart dude though you’d probably be fine…but you’ll learn a lot more with a car that can’t light up the tires in 4th gear

oh, and wtf are you going to do if it rains on the day of your event? they’re generally rain or shine, I’d bet that car would be damn near undriveable at those speeds lol

learning is always a curve. a slow steady curve. im game to drive slow and steady forever it thats what it takes. as long as there is a smile on my face then life is worth living. :hug
