am i better off trying to sell my car privately or trading in when dealing with a new car at a dealership? ive heard some stories of kinda shitty cars getting a decent amount when getting a deal for a new car…

yea you would be very lucky to get a TRUE trade allowance of $1000… they may show you 2000 but they will be taking 1000 of the price of the new vehicle
