On ebay with same options, miliage…ect they go for around $18K-19K

I noticed with the toyota that the resale value is way higher than that of a chevy/ford/dodge.

Also it seemed as if the chevy and fords that I checked out had very bad problems with the underside rotting out. :bloated:

THe dealership gave me a little bit more for the GTI than the cost of the truck:headbang:

I deffintly lost my ass…but…not too bad

Nice, my dad has an '02 V8 TRD edition. Fun and reliable.

welcome to buffalo. glad you like it, personally id never buy a import truck, but thats just me. you dont see contractors, construction workers, landscapers, or anyone else who uses a pickup for its intended purpose driving around in anything but Chevys, Fords, and Dodges (granted that is changing a little bit) but i believe there is a reason for that.

i <3 the tundra’s…great trucks

thats the weakest argument ive ever heard

its because the resale value on fords chevy and dodges are low and they can pick up used ones inexpensively.

i beg to differ, but i will not hijack the thread and argue with you.

deff a nice truck!!!

From Tundra solutions:
“The following photo was my Tundra towing one of our Powerstrokes to the Ford dealer for warranty work. Got plenty more photos of it today as it tickled me once I got it loaded and considered the whole situation. The look on the Ford dealer service-adivsor’s face was priceless.”

so far u havent even given a good argument except that “everyone else has one”

is that why u traded in for a gto too? ls1 or bust?

Any truck in the buffalo rust belt is going to rust. I have seen older toyota compact pickemups and they all have more cancer on them than domestic trucks of the same year. I dont know why there full size trucks would be any different unless they are undercoated or galvanized which I doubt. The germans should make a truck, they always galvanize and undercoat all there shit. I bet they could make a kickass truck that would piss on all the jap trucks.

Nice Truck!!

BTW - For those of you who don’t know much of anything about the truck market… There isn’t a single 3/4 ton + import truck on the market worth a damn. WORK TRUCKS are not F150s, Tundras, Silverados… Dakotas… or any of that mini-truck crap. If it isn’t a 2500, 250, or come in Diesel… it isn’t a work truck.

The new Tundra is one of the best trucks ever made. Does it tow like an F450? an F250? Nope, and never will.

Another reason you see more of the domestic crap on the road is because of people (like those in this thread) that are Brand humpers, that will stay with a given brand no matter how shitty. Also, there are way more Fords in the resale market and at auction than any of the imports combined because there are millions of these things out there. If you sell 10 F150s for every Tacoma sold… doesn’t make the F150 a better truck, but it does however mean your going to see 1-x as many on the road. Toyota is picking up its share of the market though.

As far as that pic goes, that Tundra is fucking ugly. I love them for what they are, but get some decent body lines.

agreeed…right now I think the best looking truck is the new GMC or possibly the chevy’s with the color matched bumpers…very nice truck i’d say thats the best looking import truck on the market! enjoy

I’d like to see that
