not slipco. They did a ton of work for me in the past, but the last transmission i got done ( I sent them a b&m shift kit to put in it, and It dosent even shift that hard imho plus right away it leaked from the front seal, and all they could say was put another seal in it.
its not like they just rebuilt it or anything.
what are you looking to get done? full rebuild with manual valvebody and shift kit?

Carl at comp is the only way to go.
I had my TH400 built by competition for the SHO powered camaro. I delt with carl and he seemed super knowledgeable and make custom converters in house (he also build a high stall converter for me) I have not run the trans yet so I can’t comment on how it works though but the customer service was great.
jeff at willowridge on NFB does a pretty good job. hes done a few transmissions for the dirt cars at the big r and they have held up well. also frank at lockport transmission, though he would be a bit further away.
