alright just did my 5 speed swap, i kept the auto tranny harness but i got no speedo or reverse lights… can anybody help?
you telling me no one on son has done this swap and know’s?
the manual speed sensor should plug right in to where the automatic one was near the bellhousing. for the reverse lights, there are 3 plugs beside the fusebox. the middle one is the one you need to look at, green and white are the reverse wiring, just run some wires down to the reverse switch and it should work.
If the thin gauge green with a white stripe is going to the reverse lights you need to tap into a 12v souce anywhere and run that wire to the reverse sensor(i think the closest one to the engine or second) and then have a wire running back tapped into that green/white stripe wire.
When you put the tranny into reverse it connects the circuit and your reverse lights will get 12v.
