Crusing on the highway at 65ish in traffic. “Something quietly just ‘let go’”. No power goes to the wheels but everything runs. Had to coast the offramp into a parking lot. I checked the cv joints- fine. I didnt/don’t have time to run through anything as I had to get to work.
When I put this car in Drive, the car RPMs stutter just a TINY TINY bit, but obviously it doesnt go in. Reverse is the same, but when you get it in gate, it makes a Very light whine(you really have to listen) for like a second.
This cars driver doesnt have money for the car(she was looking to trade the thing in in a week). So anything you can think of will be helpful.
