I know its not as straightline fast. But an E39 M5 is such an amazing car to own and drive every day. I miss mine a ton. To the extent that I stalk them online and might end up in another someday.

You can’t really blame this failure on the dealer unless they didn’t use enough fluid or used the wrong fluid.
Maybe it was the 800wtq going through a high mileage stock tranny that caused the problem? lol

Yeah I have heard similar stories with flushing systems like this. I gueess stirring up all the junk, things get clogged and systems fail.
Sucks and I am suprised the dealer suggested it, unless that fluid gets very dirty or starts to break down after so many miles.
