trip meter / odometer problem

Hi guys,

95 S14 SE - the odometer and trip meter started to work sporadically about 3 days ago. Could it just be something is loose?

I thought that would be useful I was just wondering if maybe there was a difference between teh s14 and s13 models I should know about.

Dunno about the differences, but the solution to the problem could be similar. Check wiring. If your tach, speedo, and other cluster gauges are working fine all the time then that narrows it down to the odometer itself. I can’t see the odometer not working and the tach working if it is a bad connection, as IIRC the odometer is driven by the tach signal.
