So I’ve been getting horrible gas mileage out of my s14 KA for a while now.
I checked the ECU and I’m getting knock sensor code and evap codes. I checked
the old knock sensor, verified that is was bad, and replaced it with brand new OEM
part. The code didn’t go away though.
During the repair I broke one of the plastic harness crimps and had to solder the wires
directly - could this be why it isn’t working?
I’m not sure what else to do as I can’t get new plastic connectors without buying a
whole new harness…
Any advice on this?
