one bad coilpack was enough to earn me this 5 star misfire (you can hear it in first gear when i take off)
so if it is (or was) stuttering like that i would venture to guess that it’s some kind of an ignition issue

same thing happened to my GTI and it ended up being a coolant sensor.
sky is the limit to the issues wrong with the $80,000 rolling paper weight.
I didn’t read the whole thing but, that’s exactly what the Jetta did when the coil packs were dying.
