690 british pounds is the standard price. Consider this cheap as he has ferrari racks that he would charge double for…
That being said since it’s a group buy it’ll be 10% off for the group buy making the actual cost 621 british pounds = 1010.16USD
4.5% on top of price if through paypal
credit card, address, phone number required. I’ll provide him this link so he can jump in and same with the nico thread.
He will post pictures, it’s already been sent to the shop and he has drawings that he’ll post up that have already been processed.
We need to make that list now an actual yes I’ve paid and I’m gona get it list.
If you are no longer going to be a part of the group buy please let me know so I can take you of the list. This is serious so lets make it happen.
Hi guys,
Thanks to Ahmed for getting this underway
You have seen the photos of the rack…and I hope you agree they are rather special.
The racks are made from billet, and are both super strong and super light. On the Rx7 we save a total of 8.5kgs on the RHD rack, but almost 10Kgs on the LHD rack, as it is hard mounted, so we have made the body slightly thinner.
We build race cars from Rx7s and wanted to remove the original PAS to give more feel as well as remove weight. Removing another system meant that there was less to go wrong whilst on track. It would be fit and run.
So we came up with the following design brief:
Quicker
Lighter
Remove clutter from the engine bay.
The racks are now 2.4 turns lock to lock, which combats the issue of shuffling your hands before a hairpin. It is very direct, giving it great feel, and allows you to hit every apex. Running it on the road is simple. Yes it is a little heavier than the standard rack, but once you are moving it is perfect…and slow speed isn’t too bad either.
The racks are being drawn up as we speak, and should be ready for a production slot for the end of November. We will need to move on this though, as otherwise we will get into Christmas, and companies seem to go a little slower around that period, and take more time off!
As Ahmed has correctly pointed out.
The racks retail for £690
I can offer a 10% discount for a group buy.
Postage costs are quite low at £85
So I need firm details from everyone to get this underway
If you could email to nicoGB01@AtomicRex.co.uk the following information please:
Full Name
Forum Name
Email Address
Telephone number including area code (very crucial as I cant FedEx without it)
Full Address
Credit Card details
If you aren’t happy with emailing me, then by all means call me with the details on 0044 7966 388 229
Thanks guys…and I’m sure you will all be impressed with the results
Also to re-iterate, there are two available options.
A grip oriented rack and a drift oriented rack.
So basically price is 620British pounds (1010USD) + fedex shipping 85 British pounds (139USD)
Our dollar is very strong at the moment so if you’re serious for a serious product like this, this is the time to get it… its not very often that it comes around.
Cheers,
At current.
It will cost
1047… and 144 for shipping…
Just in case someone wanted to know… And because Ahmed is to lazy to post it
Our dollar is almost the same at the moment so there you go little to no difference.
