:TUP: to Paddock Chevrolet

Recently I purchased a 2002 Silverado 4x4. I had my mechanic take a look after the purchase. The truck must have spent its life parked on gravel or grass because the underside is pretty scaly. The body has no rust though and looks great.

The rear backing plates are rotted off. It has rear disk. I also found the ABS was kicking in at slow speeds. I also had a low coolant light after 30 minutes of driving.

I just got a call from service and they installed a new coolant bottle and sensor, new backing plates and are working on the ABS now. I know it seems obvious that these issues should be fixed but I always expect a hassle over these things.

No questions, no bull, they just took care of it.

Awesome experience!:tup::tup::tup::tup:

Cool!

Why not take it to the mechanic before you buy it though? :o

Because I tend to trust the dealer to make it right if something is wrong. Glad I was right.
