I am currently getting all the parts I need for my KA-T project. The turbo I got is a Garrett GT28R and it came with oil and water hard lines for the SR20.
Has anyone here used that or have any suggestions for another oil line setup? Also I have no idea where to buy water lines for the turbo. I would assume that using regular rubber lines would melt from the heat of the turbo. Would it be ok to tap into the throttle body water lines to get water to the turbo?
the throttle body water lines would be a great place to get the water from. other places that people take it from are the heater hoses, and then theres also the block drain, under your exhaust manifold.
turbo lines are easy to make.
go to any hydrolic line place, or a fiting place, and they can make it for you.
i would run -4 feed, -10 return, and 2 -6 water lines.
ALso, it is advised to get them in braided, or high temp.
