turbo return line

OK F*** this.
I keep melting my return line and it’s really starting to piss me off.
What you guys use for return lines around here?
Mind you I have a top mount turbo and the line is about 1 inch away from the manifold header.
I was using a rubber line early this year, melted, gone to Cisco, they gave me some super duper expensive blue reinforced line, and there is a crack in it now because of the heat.

I am a bit hesitant of coupling a metal tube at the section that comes close to the manifold.
I just don’t want the metal to get red hot and start cooking the oil.

Any suggestion is appreciated, thank you.

Stainless steel line routed straight down into your oil pan rather than trying to loop back to the stock location. It will save you a ton of headaches and troubles, not to mention it will drain alot better.

try one of those wraps, like thermo-tec

they have these sleeves that are insulation with foil over it… if it still melts then the turbo is getting too hot, the wrap will prevent anything nearby melting it by radiant heat at least
