For my car I’d go with a CSC, turbos are sweet but there low end power will kill our weak trannies in a heartbeat. Top end with a centrifugal is amazing.
My vote is for supercharger too…
i just dont think i like the sound of the turbo hiss w/ the deep v8 grumble
I think turbos are saweeet, but much more maintenance and up keep cost. I doubt turbo lifespans are nearly the lifespan of a supercharger.
Ive owned both. Trust me, trying to change a blower belt on the side of the highway sucks ass. Turbo>all.
oh your one of those guys  j/p, I might be a noob here, but not anywhere else
btw, that was you parked next to me in the staging lanes on thursday 2 weeks ago, right? black 240 w/ gt30r sticker on the side?
he sold that car to cheeks on here
I vote for supercharger, but not the sissy vortech or paxtons. I want a 8-71 blower on an old big block ford.
turbo’s are for pansiesa and girls. :D:D:D:D:D
The only time i think i’d go blower over turbo would be in an application where i was drving it everyday/parts getter… mostly b/c of heat. Heat near wiring or painted things will make a nice engine bay turn to shiot.
If supercharges are so great, why arent they on Big rigs
very good point…especially from a mustang guy(where superchargers are more common)
Turbos(with a capitol S as in 2 or more than 1) > *
older detroit diesels from the 70s had both :blue:
whats the difference between using EXHAUST gas to spool a power adder or directly robbing HP from the motor to spool a power adder?
you’re going to have ‘instant’ boost at an HP loss on a charger.
it’s all in the setup… but generally all the big power / fast cars have turdbos.
then others have both…
new trucks have both… some people make cars that have both…
That was mine. Cheeks bought the rolling shell off me. When i had it, It was running a GT30R- 11.01@129.90mph.
Cheeks has a t-28 BB on it now and is just too lazy to peel off the stickers on the doors. :poke:
Twin Screw superchargers, have shown to be extremely efficient. With an absolutely amazing powerband, and torque curve. As well as top end
If you’re looking for a street/strip application (keep in mind, I’m talking about a V8). I’d say a Twin Screw is slightly better than a Turbocharger.
Then of course the Turbo being better than a Centrifugal or a Roots.
twin screws AY
have a video somewhere let me find it
prove it fucknuts
