Turned this into a sack of cash....... (sold car) Debt-free 2011. :)

Use webcams, and share your windows with the internets…

DO it!

You wont

what’s up with the “trying to shift away from the car scene” ?

it always amuses me when people say things like that.

I am recently ~17 hours into myself being debt free. I woke up this morning and felt like a million bucks knowing that I had jack shit to pay for minus gas and fun activities.

Congrats. Good to see you were able to come out ahead, so to speak, even with the depreciation. Debt Free I think is the next goal in my life.

Congrats, I just got approval for this years student loan, and I am looking forward to the day I become debt free again!

Christ that amount of money in an IRA = big $ come retirement…

Although the car “scene” here really does nothing for me cars always will. So I hope you are saying shifting away from the “scene” but not “cars” in general. to selling since I don’t like them lol.

I will be debt free besides student loans in 2 months. feels pretty nice.

the next move will be to quit wasting money on that rent payment

Smart call to sell, but a shame to see it go.

Because the amount of time and money I invest into car related stuff does not give me the same emotional and physical ROI that other things can. It’s usually more stress than good times, really…

Congrats and wish I would’ve done it yrs ago. I’m looking to be debt free including the house by 2012 other then my two big properties.Even turned down a 2011 Vette GS vert last month. Was very hard but seeing the big picture at the end.

congrats duder! see me soon!

AMEN to this.

You guys really should evaluate how much you are letting your cars control your lives it seems. Im not too involved in my car anymore either and it is dope as hell. Thats why I can still <3 it.

The lotus never really caused me any grief, but i still feel that for 400 dollars a week I can do something cooler than drive a cool car around buffalo…

I agree and support this decision.

I wouldn’t call that leaving the scene / cars as much as reprioritizing money. nothing wrong with that once and a while - it’s not like you’re selling off everything fun.

What car scene?
I own cars for me not to impress the local 19 year olds and hang out in parking lots.
It would make more sense if you stated “I no longer find cars fun”
