What’s astounding is how fast this happened. I can honestly say at times I don’t recognize the country my family and I immigrated to 16 years ago and now consider to be home.
I think the sudden intensity and breadth of the outrage is a bit ridiculous, but I also think anyone who flies the confederate flag is pretty ridiculous as well…particularly those mouth-breathers that fly it when they live well north of the mason-dixon.
