Hey guys looking to test the waters for my set of emotions. These are probably a set of the most awesome 4lug rims that you can get for s13. 4 lug wheels in this insane sizing are not easy to find in ontario. Fronts are 8.5J +25 and rears are 9.5j +28. The rears are custom order from works as they do not stock anything larger than 8.5 for 4 bolt.
History
The rims were purchased from Tires23 by Chris K several years ago for over. He put them into a wall at sunset speedway and warped one of the front 8.5J rims. The set was then sold to Samson who sold them to me with some rubber as well. Early this summer i took the damaged rim and had it repaired at Skywheel on Laidlaw in Markham; a shop that has done wheels for other members. Since the repair i have tracked the fronts on several occasions and have had no problems with mounting, balancing or driving.
Condition
As i said above, 1 of the 8.5s were warped but was professionally repaired. Wheels are straight all 4 corners and have minor rash.
Tires
Currently i have my DD tires on which are UHP exclaim 215/45/17 and 225/45/17. I had them flipped this week so no worries about camber wearing out on you and have roughly 60% left in the front and 80% in the rear. Tires came brand new in May from GB Tires. 3/4 wheels come with works anodized blue valve stems and 4/4 come with glow-in-the-dark ‘emotion’ sticker.
Fitment
On an s13 with a mildly aggressive drop and mild alignment (2.5-3") these will sit very close to flush.
On my s13 i have a big drop in the front (3.5"+) with aggressive alignment and they sit flush with 25mm spacer. I reccomend getting your fronts and rear fenders rolled as if they may rub when dampening and cut the sidewall of the tire.
