k, sooo, i bought a clip, and i’m just tired of messing around with it, sooo, it MIGHT be up for sale, i’ve also got the water-pump, timing belt kit, and a new clutch for it. good compression on all six cylinders, would consider trading it for a ka24de built for boost plus a bit of cash to cover the pump, clutch, etc. or maybe a straight up even trade. i’m just tired of it, i want something that is plug and play. looking for around 1600-1800 for the clip and the pumps and such. also i’m located past north bay, but would be willing to deliver for a traded engine or meet halfway for a straight up sale.
what problems are you having with this ?
i’m not, i just want something that is plug and play, just wanna get my car going. tired of working on it, been doing that for almost a year now.
pm nitescream
k, thanks, sent him a pm’
well, i decided to just go ahead with the build anyways, sorry for this thread guys, i was just out of steam, and about to give up. got my second wind i guess, hopefully another month, and the car’ll be on the road, mod’s feel free to lock it up’
If you have any questions about anything Kix, just shoot me a PM dude.
I may need some minor shit such as Speedo cable, cluster and etc if you are interested in parting some little items!
hey i need the center rad support piece that the hood latches to and the rad if possible.
thanks a lot,
Corey
yea… If you have any Qs on stuff on what youll need etc… ask mysel for martino… the Mckinney mounts make life a lot easier… also make sure you bet a good dent in were the starter is into the firewall
the xmember is already swapped, lol. didn’t think you’d need to dent it for the 20, just the 25/26? only issue i’ll have is the wiring aspect of it all. tricky tricky.
Yea you only need to dent in the firewall when using the McKinney mounts.
I didn’t do my wiring so I couldn’t help you on that one lol.
I’d suggest going on NICO and getting the guide to do it. GTRC also has one.
already have the guide, gonna have to sit down and have a look at both harnesses and figure it out.
engine should be in the car by tomorrow night, should be finished replacing the waterpump and timing belt by then too (before it goes in)
Its only like 4 wires… do what I did and cut the plugs off the Ka harness an wire them to the ends of the grey plug you cut off… makes it plug an play instead of hard wired
RE: TW: RB20DET
So this RB20 is a turbo??? not NA??
u sell skylines … but u cant tell a rb20det from the pic?
yeah, i think i’ll do that, makes more sense, and that way, i’m not chopping up the rb harness, which i reeeally didn’t wanna do
