Twin carb to single carb swap?

Ran across a single carb intake manifold for my Banshee. I was wondering if anyone had some input on this swap. Right now my twin carb setup is a pain in the ass to adjust. So I was wondering if I got the single manifold and a slightly bigger carb, if there would be any gain in doing the conversion.

Don’t be a fagbag just get the specs for the stock jet/neddle adjustments then we’ll ride around all day and tune the shit out of it till it blows whellies like my raptor!

It runs good enough for that already  I just want something I don’t have to fuck with everytime I want to go riding. Plus it’s a pain to start once warmed up.

Having issues keeping the twin carbs balanced or something???

get the boost bottle it will help equalize the cylinders ,dont single carb it …as im sure it will hurt it in the top end

Already have the boost bottle. The left cylinder seems to run a lot more richer then the right. The quad will not idle, and you have to run it on 1/4 choke. I know they just need to be adujusted more evenly.

Are the banshee carbs rubber isolated(rubber boot) or hard mounted to the bores? Heat and/or vibration causing mis-sync of carbs and mixture settings it seems. Carbs not 1005 in sync are impossible to tune. You can make a simple carb syncronizer from ~$7 in parts.

An old friend of mine had a banshee and was exactly as you described…awesome when running but a bitch to get to and keep at that running state.

They are isolated.I will grab my buddies syncronizer from work on monday.

WTF? You holding out on me!
