To actually get the engine in without the crane chain wrecking the hatch, we had to undo the struts at the bottom and since the hatch wouldn’t close, we just jammed them between the rear panel and light assembly which is how the glass didn’t break since the hatch remained quite solid. Needless to say I was going about one mile a week all the way back to keep the engine from bouncing up right into the hatch glass.
