2 GT-30’s
i doubt a sock block could handle it
but a sweet piece
u know since hes an EXPERT:kekegay:
thats the same set up i had on my SRT-4
^^ And on your camaro?
any camaro could handle that kit… as long as you dont connect the turbos to the intake manifold
^^ yah mac has turbos on his car there just hidden.
once these go on am i still allowed to borrow it??
Looks like a nice piece of work and I really like the simple piping but I’m kind of wondering what’s the point? I mean two small turbos could be used to produce 4-500 hp with little lag I would think however those gt-30’s being spooled up off 1.25 liters of displacement each are going to lag pretty good I would think. So assuming big power is the goal (which is what I would think the goal is with those turbos) that intercooler set-up is not going to be very efficient and is going to limit the set-up a lot. A dual set of intercoolers, perhaps something along the lines of a cross between a side mount and a top mount would be a totally sick very custom way to complete such a set-up and not limit the power.
not only that but that IC is WAAAAY tiny and sitting on top of the motor like that, good luck
Now that’s an intercooler set-up that could do the job nicely.
yeah i was wondering the same thing. single 30R is enough to make sick power. two is just overkill and extra lag. rather go gt35R and make 400whp+
From what I have read they say a GT 35 on the STi is not worth it unless your running race gas all the time, and its not a good turbo for a daily driver.
I was thinking maybe the smaller IC is to help relieve some of the lag from only 2 cylinders spooling one turbo.
That intercooler set-up is lovely. What kinda car is that?
I remember that thread… and that car, real nice setup…
Psst. Petty, that kit is for a 2.5RS.
The intercooler on the yellow car is the JUN Hyperlemon.
