Is it possible for a near stock 5.0l to twist a driveshaft?
i was starting to undo the tc bolts…
and i look back, and notice the driveshaft is completely twisted and bent, sitting on top of the passenger side h-pipe…looks like the splines wouldve been brought about an 1" -2.5"s out of the back of the tranny…
is this possible any other way? like if i twisted the crankshaft the wrong way even if it was in park or neutrol?
Im completely befuddled…
Oh and a mod can merge my 2 threads, i just need an answer…
ive honestly never driven the car…
the story goes…
we thought the tranny was slipping and it seamed like it was…
one day, the car died, and never started again, it was towed 3x, and because it didnt turn over or run, they wouldnt fix the tranny…
we got it back, it sat for the winter, we pushed it into the garage and it took we 2hrs with my big hands to re order the spark plugs…
anyway,

1st the driveshaft…from the tranny side… you can see where it starts to turn towards the exhaust…
