Sr tanny install, driveshaft?

Well I’m having a problem connecting the drive shaft to the Sr tranny.

Here are some pics…

First, i know there is suppose to be a slight gap between the tranny and driveshaft…but this much???

so whats my problem…i don’t even know where to start:confused:

um, you’re missing the front part of the driveshaft. it bolts to that 6 sided rubber bit and slides into the back of the tranny.

First of all, your not supposed to ever remove the spline from the rubber pieces there. Second your missing a piece from your driveshaft, that would bolt to that rubber, and slide into the transmission. Let me see if i can post up a schematic for ya.
EDIT:
the piece to the left, is what your missing.

now that u’ve taken the yoke off. ur fuckd its never gonna stay together. those bolts will always comes loose on u.i had just one come loose every three weeks, id say i have to tighten it. and thats one bolt.

i bought the car like that… Hmmm, so what should i do just find a whole new driveshaft or…

Yes, you shouldn’t use it since it has been seperated

i blew that rubber seal and replaced it and i never had any issues. and i drifted the shit out of it.

ive seen guys go 2 years on a fucked slave cylinder and some guys 6 days… its all amatter or luck and chance my man…

i think the driveshaft cost far outweights the repair costs if it breaks…
just upgrade:) one peice.
