Two GM's goin' buck wild in a gravel pit…

A co-worker bought a similar truck to what I have last month, except he has a Silverado and I have a Sierra. Since he has a set of keys to a large, old, abandoned gravel pit near by, we explored that for a little while and snapped some shots. I think I had more fun just driving around the pit.

30 shots total; the rest can be seen here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/killerblackbird/sets/72157624610499939/with/4896380939/

Blah…'nother rig shot of my truck:

so when can we load up the atv’s to go riding an not get ass raped by the PD??? lol

You def wouldnt get bothered in there, everyone that has access (keys) to it shoots their guns, rides their ATV’s, and does whatever in there. I was supposed to get a key to it, but I’m working on that. I might go there this weekend and go through a few rounds with the AK47 and .357 mag.

So how much is GM paying you for this work? lol

Great shots, as usual.

I love those trucks. The exact style I want, too.

Good work as usual.

nice shots! and someone that isnt afraid of getting their brand new truck dirty

The shoot, and especially #11 looks exactly like something I would see if I go and gran a car and driver magazine off the shelf to see their back page truck review.

#14 would have the description and advantages of the truck listed right below it.

Great shots man , that place looks fun

Thanks guys!

They could send me a check with a 6 figure amount anytime lol.

:thumbup Thanks. I tried a different edit and kinda shot them a little different than I normally do.

I wanted to go in the mud pit in the gravel pit, but it would not have been easy getting out lol

I love 4 and 11. The rig shots are always awesome too

Awesome! We have to meet up and take pics of the twins. Yours would be a mini me if u had a tonneau cover and tint on the front windows!

Let me know I’m down to go when ever u r. :thumbup

What are you averaging for mileage with the GMC?

I plan on ditching the slobalt and picking up a new/slightly used Silverado half-ton with the 5.3/6pd/4x4 combo within the next year or so.

On the dash display, it says I am averaging 19.5MPG. With my '07 Sierra Denali (6.0L - 345HP) I was getting about 16-17MPG, so it really isn’t that bad. The 6-speed transmission does some funny shifts sometimes, hard to explain, but nothing to worry about.

you ever run E85?

Never. Can you get it around here? I havent seen it yet.

Mobil on Wolf Rd in Albany carries it, but I’m not sure of anywhere else around here that does.

good website to find stations that serve alternative fuels. link to albany since i know you come out this way alot.

The 6spd in those newer gas trucks is a funky trans, shifts VERY funny at times. I guess thats just the way they are though. Gas mileage in the newer style 5.3’s is excellent they’re a well built truck and you can find them at great prices all around.

Nice shoot by the way!
