I just called public safety at UB to find out if the university is open and they stated the the campus is CLOSED tomorrow Monday 10/16.
on Wgrz.com they have the local schools (amherst & Williamsville) closed for the rest of the week. And there is still a driving ban in Amherst.

I dunno, I feel that there were a few things handled poorly.
Friday, 645-NEWS was not properly updated, nor the news website. Nothing was being posted on MyUB.
Still, as of today no there were no emails being sent via any listserve to .edu accounts. Although the MyUB website said “Student needs being met”. I find that funny because nowhere did I find information where to go for what services. I have been lucky, and have had power. But I can’t imagine being a foriegn student that lives in the hieghts and relies on the buses.
The only bit of information that I recieved was from a TA reminding us about a test saying that the Union was open.
Lucky Lucky i see that buffstate is open though. So there is still a driving BAN in lancaster so how do lancaster students get to school?

no, seriously, ever since Univ. of Michigan got sued by some students claiming they weren’t getting their tuition’s worth because of snow days, fucking reactionary Al Simone @ RIT decided we don’t even get federal holidays - I had school on the 4th of July, no joke.
