this shit is 100x harder than ANYTHING i ever did at school, not only are there time restraints for doing this stuff but if you fuck it up you’re losing sometimes 40 years worth of information

Synapse is fuji’s version of pacs (picture archiving system) for long term digital storage of medical imaging. it basically is an oracle db with our system built around it but we’re going through upgrades and installation of this stuff and it’s rough, 10 hour training days

yeah i know, i guess i’m just kinda stressed out cus the hotel bill is putting me over my credit limit because the company hasn’t gotten their act together to have the hotel billed straight to them i get reimbursed for it which is fine normally but 5 weeks at a hotel is 6k bux (at our discounted rate) and i don’t have a credit limit htat hight with my 2k trans on my credit card. and the credit card company won’t up my limit either :fockers:

we’ve all been bitching, it’s only the corporate office they have this “i’m better than you” attidute like “lets make things easier for me but who cares how it affects you” i think i scavanged enough to cover these 3 weeks but the last 2 i have no idea what i’m doing about those.
don’t get me wrong it’s an awesome job and i wouldnt change it for anything it’s just they need to get a ffew things straight when it comes to helping their EMPLOYEES instead of THEMSELVES

most people dont’ have to do that, i started late in the year so all my training is in january. to them it’s easier i guess i don’t know. I hardly remeber what i’m doing anymore after a 12 hour database upgrade that didnt’ work to a 6 hour storage server installation that STILL Doesn’t work because they can’t get their network shit straight in the training rooms.
