unknown wiring :S

Hey,
upon tearing up the carpet in my trunk (i have my reasons) i found this peice sitting under the carpeted bolted to the floor. I know its not an oem thing. I appears to look like a second battery tray. The wiring that was next to it, also under floor coming out from the rear strut tower, was also weird. It was three wires, one looked like a cable wire for a television, one looked like a phone jack hookup, and the other was just your every day wiring harness.

if anyone knows what this might have been used for, it would be appretiated.

Is it possible the previous owner used to use a trailor on the car, mine did and i found some weird shit back there, but nothing like a phone jack.

Could have been for a CD changer for the trunk??? :dunno:

Or an old ghetto portable car phone? I found something like that In my bros car, turned out to be an early 90s car phone.

yep the 1 I found said motorola on it, car phone…or RCMP tracking unit…?
