UPDATE: I think I got the bugs worked out

UPDATE: I’ve been extremely busy at work “tis the roofing season” and I have been busy getting things straightened out with my car. Here are the results.

Well, it looks as if I got the bugs worked out The glitch was in the tuning. Too much timing and too much fuel up top. As a matter of fact it had too much timing and too much fuel everywhere. No one involved in this project knows how the car could have run so good at WOT with the tuning being so bad.

I took the car to a shop ACCEL recommended in Perkasie, PA “I think thats how you spell it”. lol They are not a sponser here so I won’t mention their name. Man these guys are good.

I couldn’t even drive the car onto the dyno. We had to push it on. Bill thought I couldn’t drive because the car kept stalling lol and he tried. He couldn’t drive the car either lol.

The tuning was so bad the plugs were fouled after the (3) 9.90 passes I made at Norwalk a few friday’s ago. I was still breaking up just passed the 1,000’. best pass was 9.91 at 126 lol

The tuning is very good now and all I need to do is get the car to the track to see how good. ““RAIN all weekend”” I won’t know for sure till I get the car down the track but things are looking good.

The drivability is perfect. Idles at 1000 rpms and NO SURGE. When I drop it into gear it DON"T STALL like before.

The car makes 551 hp std corrected and 540 sae corrected. More than before.

The car was taken to 7,700 + rpms the last pull and it DID NOT break up. It was breaking up at 7400 to 7500 rpms before at the track.

I’m excited and I want to get the car to the track soon. Looks like friday night will be the soonest I can get to the track. Weather looks BAD today. I don’t think PRP will be open.

Just thought I would give a heads up.

Later,
Tom

 congrats & may i have the shops name!!!post it or pm me tom!!!:bigok:

Thanks Brian. The shop is 2nd Street Speed. Talk to Bill or Lon. The phone number is 215-257-3724. Call soon because the only reason I got in within a 2 week window was because somebody cancelled. They are 1 month out at least.

I still want the black interior pieces. Bring them to the track. Maybe next week if the weather is good.

It is a dynojet and I don’t know if they have edit.

Glad to hear about getting all the bugs out Tom. It’s about time you start having some good luck now. See you at PRP soon.

Thanks Dean

Awesome 4th Gen!
