im looking at an 05 R6 but it has been wrecked it has the top fairing broke and the right headlight lense and some road rash on the left side its not a big deal but my question is how hard is it to break the upper fairing stay bracket thats the only thing im worried about in buying this bike because the front fairing isnt blown to peices and it starts runs fine and everything just some front damage ideas would be appriciated
I looked at a lot of wrecked bikes and for the most part unless u get the right price on it it dont seam worth it, i looked at cyclers etc. fairings are cheap on ebay but check the forks
It’s real easy to break the upper fairing stay. I bought my bike wrecked. 03r1. The stay was broke when I bought it. I then wrecked myself the following year, and broke the new stay I had bought, and had to buy yet another one. It don’t sound like a lot of damage at all to that bike. Go on ebay for the parts.
