I dropped my bike this mourning, Mirror, Peg, and Tail fairing shattered.
Mirrors are on order, Pegs are on,
The guy at Mean Customs says he can make the tail look new for 150. Ive seen some on his work, looked very clean, just want some reviews. He said he can fill the cracks and then paint it to look brand new again.
Id buy a new one, but its around 500 NEW. :suicide:
Very stupid mistake, but its still ride able, just a shattered tail, and only 1 mirror until Tuesday.

700 a piece for fairings, CAUSE of stickers!
The tail, when I bought it, was dumped and the tail didnt have stickers anyways. So its just the solid blue.
howd you dump? how many miles had you put on it (today) before the dump? what tires?
No this was in the my driveway at around 7am. I didn’t even make it to the road yet.
or just buy an aftermarket/used one and paint it a solid color…

how bad is it? post pics…
Its not terrible, but noticeable, A hole probably quarter ($0.25) size, then various cracks probably 4-5 inches long surrounding it. Right in between the two seats. The stator cover has some chips in it, but thankfully didn’t go all the way through. (I think its the stator cover? Left side)
Mirror completely shattered and flew a good 10 feet. Peg just broke in half.
Im not taking pictures, makes me sick every time I look at it. Oh well at least I wasn’t going 50, can fix a bike, sometimes not people.

If so, only replace the shit that has to be replaced in order to ride legally.
Because you will be doing more stupid shit, this year that causes minor damage to your bike.
Treat this bike as like a starter bike that you are going to sell to another beginner after your skill has improved and you’ve moved on to another bike.
And yes. We’ve all dropped our bikes at one point or another. Sucks…
