That is great!! :bowrofl:
I haven’t been to the Civic Arena more than two or three times, and the only time I can remember is seeing Garth Brooks from the second row because my dad wanted to go… not my kind of music, but he put on a good show.
WHO DID I [QUETE]???U DO WHAT FOR A LIVING! :ugh2:
i was there for that if its the one i’m thinking about…how many times has he been to the arena…i was in 9th grade at the time.
i rmemeber the truck just called GIANT i think it was, either that or it was goliath but i think it was just called GIANT stood up on its rear bumper and stayed there.
you’re about my age, so that’s probably right… i want to say it was 1997. he did five or six shows in a row that year, and they all sold out.
Right before Mario “retired”, i went to his last home game against the flyers. it was a playoff game and he scored the game-winning goal at the end of the 3rd period. everyone was going crazy and we chanted “Mario” for about 20 minutes. i remember him crying and waving to everyone. it was the best hockey game i’ve ever seen.
I was there the first game after Bob Johnson died and they held the memorial. I don’t think there was a person in the place w/o a tear in their eye. Everyone holding up the candles they gave us is probably my best memory.
me & my wife was there at Garth brooks almost in the same area,it wasnt great show!
that was my buddy truck, virgina gaint!
The day I graduated high School. We had are graduation ceremony there.
THe only time I have been there was for the filming of a Jean-Claude Van Damme movie. It was Sudden Death. My Dad took me and my sister and they had us fake scream and chant for 30 minutes while the players ran the same breakaway 20 times in a row. They had the entire upper sections full of wood cut outs of torsos to resemble people sitting there. My Dad tried to take 2 of them home but was stopped by security and had to give them back. We missed the helicopter scene by about an hour the guy said…
watching the harlem globtrotters
haha, i was there too, we got yelled at for sitting up by the cut outs…that was the most boring thing ever…
AC DC in 1995 one of the best concerts i have ever been to.
I was there also. We had season tickets in middle C10 (alot of the scenes took place in the front of C10. We went and it was very boring. I knew some of the people who they brought down to be the hockey extras.
i was ther for that as well, but my best memory is one playoff game, me and my dad went and sat right above the blue seats on center ice… we lost and dint advance but those were the best seats i ever had…
