last night my friend showed me the enterance to that underground tunnel that was supposedly part of the underground railroad. Its on michigan by dodge st. The enterance is locked with this old steel door. I wana go take some pics soon kuz it looks really cool.
Damn i go by there quite often, my aunt and uncle live right there down Oakwood. I figured that road was someone’s driveway. Now i kinda wanna go see whats back there.
Breetime and I just tried to go find these fucking things. The ONLY way to get back there is up someone’s driveway. As we drove back there where motion sensors or something on the gate and instantly some broad appeared in the window. Not gonna happen.
fuck those castles…bust.
saw some old stone walls behind her house tho. i think those were the “castles”
found a way into the nike base ian, i need to take my sweater off.
…theeeen i can squeeze under the door.
Def not the castle, they are back there somewhere.
motherfucker.
Yeah no shit. Id imagine that old cunt is going to very unhappy when we go trudging up her driveway and off into the woods…
you gotta walk it through the woods to get back there, ive never been personally but there is someone who lives back in there… However I’d be up for an adventure back there, i live literally 30 seconds away
Fuckin hell man. Take us there then.
I’ve never been there before, drive by there regularly but have never ventured back there. Always wondered what it looks like
Bet ya it ends with who ever lives there being all kinds of pissed off.
im always game…ill bring my joust
they gotta be used to it by now
I’m so in for this. LOL. I never knew this place existed.
so i guess noone have ever told you that the “underground railroad” was named for its covert nature and NOT because of supposed underground tunnels ?
used to go to the castles all the time, its like being in another country. so secluded, an old world style castle with a moat style waterway underneath it built next to a pond. huge trees that I heard were imported from europe, stone bridges. looking for some pics I took last time we went…
There actually were some underground paths, but it was MAINLY above ground.
If anybody is interested in going to the Akron caves let me know. I know exactly where they are, and how to get into them safely. BE WARNED! It is VERY easy to become disoriented and get lost in those caves! after you go in about 200’ it is completely pitch black. Good flashlights and flares/glow sticks are recomended to mark your path. I used to drop glowsticks so I know the way out. Those caves go all the way to rochester supposedly. Dont wanna get lost in em.
How in the hell do you get back to them ? There is houses all around the perimeter pretty much.
