using a laptop instead of gauges

I am going to do my best to keep it neat. If it is hooked up The way i’m picturing all the data I need for logging and for the laptop dash will be 2 USB cables and a power inverter to power the laptop. Everything else can be tucked into the engine bay in a box.

Yes this is for the SHO powered camaro and no i’m not going to put a LS1 in it.

Another option for a very small PC would be the Acer Revo, could be easy tucked away and probably easier to rig than a carputer,a couple of the people who wrote reviews for it are using it in the car…

That PLX software is made by PalmerPerfornaceEngineering and is designed for OBD2, not OBD1…
I have been using the PPE software for a few years now and it works pretty good for not having the advanced upgrades, I’m using ScanXL pro with a OBD2 usb adapter…

Cops have laptops in their cars so why not citizens? There has to be the same type brackets that they use for sale online.

sure it required some modifications but it sounds like youve modified most of it anyways.
