Who else rocks remote display? :tspry:
I finally took this out of my other hatch (it was hard wired & I’m lazy) and installed it on my daily.
Looks ok, I’ll still have to hide it when I park the car cuz its not that recessed.
I wanted to put it right here, and I might move it in the future, but for now I settled for the current spot.

thought radar for bikes is just more gas
lol. it used to be… it really doesnt help to much during the day, but at night, its amazing, they hit me with radar and I can decide how I want to procede, before I’m anywhere near the speed trap. (as of lately, I stop every time, and they let me go)
Where did you mount the unit? I bought the hard wire kit for the passport undecided where i want it.

nitro - I have it on the sunvisor for now…I lost my suction cup mount.
Usually I hide it behind the rearview mirror using the suction cup mount, with only the rear sensor peeking out the side…this way, from the front, it blends in w/ the color of the mirror and if the wire is tucked all the way down, they cannot spot the detector at all.
I have a V1 in the Cobra but no remote display yet. Where did you mount your V1?
I wish I was an Uber-leet EE so I could take it apart and mount the sensors into the rearview mirror and the rear hatch brake light, and set up a HUD for it.

I think I will buy the visor mount for the passport.Maybe i will finally bite the bullet and get a v1.It comes with everything I have to buy seperate.

Mines mounted right above the rearview mirror, it blends in perfectly… and most people wouldnt expect my car to even have radar, lol. when the car was broken into, they left it behind, and took the 4 year old pioneer deck.

I’ve seen ppl take the display apart and mount it in their rearview, sort of like how cars have the directional compass, or the backup camera in there…
But I’m not sure if I’ve seen ppl take the detector sensors and mount them at the F/R of the car

at first it just said someone did, and i really lol’d at work.
IIRC he mounted the display in the mirror, but he just mounted the unit in the back seat headrest (well on a mount behind and above the headrest)
