The luge event was both touching and pretty exciting. Zee Germans got to go first on the midday runs, before the sun started turning the track to mush, and last on the late runs, as the track surface got faster. Needless to say they went one-two.
That accident of Nodar Kumaritashvili was brutal. Guy just went lights out.
