Anyone have Vag-com I can use? I have to do a timing belt this weekend on my car this weekend and to adjust the timing correctly you need VCDS to do it.

Badnewmike knows alot about TDI’s and has VCDS, hes done a couple dozen timing belts too
You can do the belt and the timing can be done after… finish it up then let me know and i can time it for you cheap just let me know when your done.

I might just buy vcds myself then I mean I bought all the tools as it is anyways…
just wondering what kit are you putting on? conti belt? there is a cool trick to getting the motor mount out of the way. leaving the engine level and sliding it towards the rear (firewall) also if you get the waterpump in hand you can swap it with only a little water loss. just make sure your also replacing the 2 idlers.
