Vehicle purchase help

Hey everyone,

I could use some input. I’m looking to buy a 2003 Track edition 350z. The car looks great, and it has factory navigation, which is pretty rare in a Track edition.

Anyway, I know the car was tracked before (autocross, and DE). I’m a little concerned that this could have hurt the car. It’s only got 52,000 miles, though. Where would you guys I recommend I take the car to have it checked out to make sure everything’s in good shape? I guess I’m less concerned about the autocross than I am about the longer-track stuff. I know the car was run at VIR. Is there anything specific I should be checking for?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I’ve got to get the serpentine belt replaced in my Xterra, so I’m hoping to get some one-stop shopping done and get the Z checked out at the same place I have the belt replaced.

Normally, this is all stuff I would do on my own, but I’ve just been so damn busy with work…

Thanks,
Adam

There aren’t really any known suspension issues aside from tire feathering with this year. The one thing I would keep my eyes open for are for syncro’s not working on fast, high rpm, up and down shifts.

How much you paying?

I’ll check out the synchros when I test drive. Thanks for the help.

He already had the feathering issue handled at a dealership. I guess he’s go the sheet explaining what the alignment measurements should be.

He’s asking $13,500.

good price - grab it

haha. will do.

thanks again.
