i have seen quite a few cars drive the wrong way down the 33 in the 6 years ive been in buffalo
One of the people that died in this accident was a guy that I have been very close friends with since kindergarden. My family and his are very upset about the whole thing. I’m not sure what aspect alcohol played in the accident. I will post more if/when I find out.

i was on parker around 10 and i saw a tow truck towing a jeep with the whole left side crushed on it and there was blood all over the air bag and a tonawada cop was behind it.
Channel 7 news showed some video. Man, terrible accident.
They though he got on the 290 around Millersport the wrong way.

I got on the thruway about 9:15 am and the section where the accident occurred was still closed off… I couldn’t believe how smushed the blue car was. Definitely expected to hear some bad news about it when I got back home. Sad stuff
Wow this is crazy. I got on 290 eastbound at Millersport at about 4:50am this morning.
close friend to me says the two that passed away worked at geico. I know a bunch of you dudes work there. sorry to hear.
Wow, getting bits and pieces from feedback. The woman killed was getting married next week.

Don’t get me wrong - I am strongly against drunk driving or getting behind the wheel when you’ve been drinking or are tired. But keep in mind that he is a person who had people that loved him. It has NOT been determined that he was drinking or drunk.

This accident was horible, i saw both cars in person the jeep and the jag and its very upsetting. I feel for the drivers and the familys. Best wishes to them.

Sucks to hear, this guy is on my Epic roller hockey team. 
I work with the guy who was engaged to the woman killed. She was on the way to the airport to pick him up. Wedding was this saturday. Utterly tragic.
