Edmunds sent a top secret undercover operative into the wonderful world of car sales, and this is the writeup. Very interesting, kind of a long read, but well worth it…
It really confirms a lot of my suspicions about sales tactics used at dealerships…

I actually had that bookmarked from a couple years ago. I thought I posted it here, but I guess it was on ubrf.

i’ve read this before, but again a good read.
I usually find best deals on autotrader and ebay.
If you buy a late model with low mileage, you usually get the balance of the factory warranty, you don’t need to buy from an expensive dealer.
I’m looking at a 06 pt cruiser wit 4k miles for about 9500 bucks.
Good price for an almost new car, and I get the balance of the 80k chrysler warranty.

Looong read, but well worth it. Haha makes me want to go buy a car just for the sport of it.
