As sad as it is, he should not have beeing going 100 mph in a residential area…plain and simple.
sad story…
I understand the father went over the do’s & don’ts of the car, but an 18 yr old kid should not have been alone in an 11 sec car. I know how I was in 16 second cars when I was 16-17. :nono:
I will not let my son drive my fast cars/trucks alone. I will teach him to drive them at a track, and teach him to respect the power. Fortunately, I have about 15 or so years before I got to worry about it.
Again, sad story.
I agree with everyone else in saying that this is a sad story, but the kid should have never been driving that car.
I feel sorry for the car, and the dad.
