While he’s been able to laugh about it, he’ll remain nameless. I really feel for the guy. He’s had a bad experience at a few other shops and the end result is a car that needs a lot of straightening out. The shops are all out of the area and will remain nameless.

It’s an inline 6 if you look closely. Doesn’t really look like a 240 to me.

Not sure. It came in like this, but because of the extent of the mechanical problems it’s hard to even say what caused the failure. Any one of several problems found could have been the culprit.
