The size of the unit is nice. But why is everyone getting their panties in a bunch about how AEM mounts.

I just shoved it in the kick panel and that was it.

No one knew it was there other than a serial cable hanging out :o

And I doubt the people stealing cars would know what to do with an AEM :rofl: :o

I mean MAF’s are “okay” on straight plug and play apps on basic cars… but if you’re going to wire an ecu in…may as well upgrade to speed density.

I dont know too much about with this crap sooo that brings my question how much more would it cost to put in the vipec v44 using a MAP???

For an SR20DET the install fee wouldn’t be much more than the box itself. The only real work required is the tapping andd wiring of the supplied Air Intake Temp sensor.

Is you are talking about a universal box. The install price could get quite extensive depending how you prefer it installed. Many reputable shops charge a minimum of 15hrs shop time to install a full flying lead harness. May seem like a lot but that is a deal,

For the same price you can save on the labour cost and get AEM EMS, PowerFC, etc. :o

With all the upgrades, and more power car ran 13.9 but dustin drove it. But I ruined the clutch that night. I agree, AEM makes you slower.

Eurodrive makes you slower. not AEM

Building this harness lets me swap back and forth between Autronic and ViPEC in seconds. I plan on doing some back-to-back dyno testing.

I wanna see dyno results of the ViPEC and see how she stands up.

have you done any tuning with it yet i want to know how it works out i have a 95 240 with a s14 sr20det swap and i was going to go with aem ems but if this is beter im in lol

So far so good…I’ll continue to do some testing over the next short while but as it stands now I’d recommend this over AEM EMS.

I setup Farmers RB26DETT S13 a few nights ago and with doing almost no tuning (we really just wanted to see if it would start) the car fired quickly, ran well and idled absolutely rock solid. Not even once did it hunt…this is on 1000cc injectors too…
