So I’ve been always thinking about what to do with my Viper to make some more power.

Well before I left Houston I dropped off a set of Gen 3 heads for Greg Good to work his magic on. He is just got done CNC’ing the heads and he is going to hand port them, install new valves, springs, guides, weld the power steering bungs on, add a temperate sensor port and additional cooling ports at the back of the heads. These heads will make my car about 9.2:1 compression.

Then I picked up this used Novi 2000 blower… It has pulleys to run about 14psi.

I’ll be modifying the blower set up a little to work with a sheet metal intake.

Dan is going to be setting me up with a new cam, lifters, timing chain, head gaskets and a few other parts to finish the puzzle.

Cliffs:

Doing heads/cam/blower on my viper. 9.2:1, 13-15psi, should be an easy 850whp on 93.

I’ll start ripping into the car this weekend probably and will post more pictures.

Also, I got a set of CCW classics that I’m going to keep. 17x13 rears, 18x13 rears & 18x10 fronts.

I’m thinking about stuffing some 390/40/17 DR on the 17s with a nice 335 street tire on the 18 for long trips.

I’ll only be on 13-15 psi, stock bottom end. If I get bored with that, I’ll build it and run 20psi and make 1100. I think i’ll be fine at 850 ish, I should have a good amount of torque too.

Just drive it till it fails, then toss in a t6060 if that happens.

Right lol, I could always toss on a 100 shot, you know to cool the intake air temps.

The block on the 96-99 GTS can really take a pounding.
