never pulled one off before
what should i do? what am i looking for? how long am i looking at?

-Remove driveshaft from carrier.
-Undo bolts holding axle to the half shafts.
-Remove 4 bolts/nuts on the back of the pumpkin where it bolts to the subframe.
-Remove the 2 long bolts on either side of the rear end to lower it down.
I’d also pull the axles right out of the hubs. It may be a little more work but it gives you alot more room to remove and reinstall the rear end.
I may have missed something but once you get underneath everything becomes fairly obvious.
