Vocal Practice?

So I’ve been in and out of numerous bands. Me and a bunch of friends from high school get together every year and put on this big show called the “Spring Fling”. We always seem to have changing vocalists. The_Russian said he would be our vocalist this year but doesn’t have any prior experience. Can anyone throw out advice for him? Were not doing anything vocally challenging but some help for him would be useful.

I have advice : don’t suck.

No, really… don’t ever think you are good until you actually hear yourself sing…

are you from springville

Drink hot tea with honey in it to warm up the throat. (that’s what I do, if your a drinker take a shot of crown). Don’t be nervous, if your nervous you’ll hold back, and typically it sounds bad if your not going all out. Pick somebody in the crowd whos dancing and enjoying themself, and basically act like your singing to that person all night. You’ll probably never see the people in the crowd ever again, so give them something to remember.
