You’ve obviously never ridden much of Eville/McCarty Hill then. Very few trails are actually on the ski runs.
That’s not Holiday valley. I said Holiday Valley. Those trails are on state land and I ride it every year.
Edit: I love the Eagle down hill because of the length and the grade its on. Has lots of switchbacks, trees, tight section… its a fun run.
Ok, so basically the 1 trail, the race loop that cuts across the ski runs. It’s setup that way because of its name, to race, so during races there’s actually places to pass. It’s hard to pass on 100% tight single track.
I got that, they dont have any other downhill runs. This is not going to be a race trail and they cant make anything on the ski runs because it will be a danger to the skiers in the winter… make it a fun trail staying in the woods if you are getting 33k to build it. If you are looking to make it wider than a single track, rent a dozer and go to town. I’m sure that will make it wide enough. lol
Edit: its still single track in the woods on their race loop even when you get on their land

Either way it would be cool to have a nice flow trail since we have roots and rocks on all the others, but just saying how I wish they’d keep it in the trees and maybe once or twice across a trail, not 5-7 times. lol
Speaking of single track, I remember reading an article in Mountain Bike about 20 years ago that questioned whether there will be any single track in existence in about 20 years.

Really bugs me that I try sharing this with the news channels daily to get them to share themselves yet none of them shared it. They all manage to share posts/comments from Jim Kelly but something that could be free for people to use which is something athletic in a town full of obese people…Is not worth mentioning to people.
