If we win, Holiday Valley will kick in some funds to make this 2-mile trail even better. The trail will always be open to the public to ride for free.

The trail is a 2-mile downhill flow trail from Spruce Lake to the ski lodge. It will be full of berms, rollers, switchbacks and other fun stuff, that takes machines and money to build.
I was meaning to post this as well. I would think that HV is planning to build the track regardless of this going through, but they’re leading the votes anyhow. :tup: Just gotta keep the lead.
HV posted it to their facebook page already. People were asking about the possibility of using the chair lift to bring bikes up and they said it’s not in the immediate plans but also not out of the question in the future. :tup:
Twas me commenting on there. Pat Morgan is the one that posts on their page. The plus to this if they win, it could potentially bring the chair lift due to the ropes course being right there. It will be almost another means to bring people to see things and raise more money. Lets hope that happens.
Either way though, it would be nice for Holiday Valley to do this trail anyways. It could be a good addition to what we already have on the state land.
Now I’d rather see this placed by Foxfire/Eagle/Falcon so we can have some steeper section, I know the area they are talking about is pretty mellow. I know it will still be a blast.
Why do they have to make all the switch backs happen going across the ski runs? Why cant we just keep everything in the woods. I hate that with hv and any trails they have, they have to use as much as the open ski runs as possible.
