Read my posts. Global economy. Every nation makes certain things. Because of regulation, we cannot afford to make the things we used to. We now have no manufacturing backbone. Just making it MORE expensive for people to buy imported goods wont fix the REASON American labor is too expensive. Taxing imports/exports makes America less competitive in the global market and would limit our potential for success.

What happened to the regulation? It seems like build quality is improving recently? If regulation is bad, why is McCain proposing to regulate Wall Street and Health Care?

Wall St needs to be regulated because the common man can get hurt playing with the big dogs. Regulation to help the little guy makes everyone more money in the long run since more dollars are in the marketplace.

I dont think healthcare should be regulated outside of the FDA and patient protection, but that’s just me. McCain needs to support healthcare reform to win this election. AARP = srs votes.
